Friday, April 26, 2024 – How to Measure Bulk Manure

Multiplying the length x width x height of anything will give you its measurement in cubic units. Whether it is Imperial inches, feet, or yards, or Metric millimetres, centimetres, or metres.

We measure our manure in cubic yards. A pile that measures three feet long x three feet wide x three feet high equals twenty seven cubic feet (which equals one cubic yard).

3 cu ft x 3 cu ft x 3 cu ft = 27 cu ft (1 cu yd)

The photo shows a 1 cu yd tractor bucket full of manure.
